Your information, clearly explained

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how bidfor.space handles information when you browse the theatre, submit a bid, upload media, or contact support.

Effective and last updated24 August 2026
Approved placements are public.

Your name, product or X identity, image, approved link, bid amount, placement and timestamps may be shown to anyone visiting bidfor.space.

01

Information we handle

Information you submit

When you request a seat or the auction screen, we collect the payer name you enter, product name or X username, optional destination link, uploaded image, selected placement, bid amount and the confirmations you make before submitting.

Information created while operating the service

We create request and reservation identifiers, timestamps, moderation results, approval or denial records, and takeover history. To prevent abuse, we use a one-way hash derived from your IP address for rate limiting. Our hosting and security providers may also process standard request, browser, device and network logs.

Payment information

bidfor.space creates a UPI payment instruction and manually matches the payer name and amount. Your UPI PIN, OTP, bank password and full banking credentials are entered only in your UPI app and are not received or stored by this site.

02

How we use information

  • Hold a placement, calculate its minimum bid and process takeover requests.
  • Generate payment instructions and match the submitted payer name and amount.
  • Check uploaded images and links for suitability before publication.
  • Approve, deny, publish and administer promotional placements.
  • Protect the service from spam, fraud, misuse and technical problems.
  • Respond to support, privacy and dispute requests and meet legal obligations.
03

What becomes public

After approval, your placement can publicly show your submitted name, product or X identity, image, approved destination link, seat or screen, bid amount and relevant timestamps. If another bidder later takes over the placement, limited previous-holder details may appear in the takeover flow and history.

Do not submit an image, name, link or other information that you do not have permission to publish. Removing information may also require removing or changing the associated placement.

04

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising. We may share or process information with:

  • Image-safety providers: uploaded images may be sent to Cerebras for automated classification and may also be reviewed by a human administrator.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure may host the site, database, media and security services.
  • Payment and destination services: your chosen UPI app, payment provider, X or an external link processes information under its own privacy terms when you open it.
  • Authorities or advisers: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate misuse or resolve a dispute.

Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

05

Retention and security

We retain submissions, media, bid and approval records, and security data for as long as reasonably needed to operate the theatre, maintain bid and takeover history, prevent abuse, handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Approved placement data may remain while the placement or related history is active. Expired, cancelled or denied requests may be retained for operational and safety purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted administration, access checks, rate limiting and review before publication. No online service can promise absolute security, so keep your private payment credentials inside your UPI app.

06

Cookies and similar technology

We do not add advertising cookies or behavioural analytics to the public theatre. Essential security or session technology may be used to operate the service; for example, the restricted approval area uses a necessary administrator session cookie.

07

Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your submission, withdraw a request before publication where possible, or raise a privacy concern. Include your request ID so we can locate the correct record. Some information may be retained where needed for security, disputes or legal obligations.

The service is intended for people aged 18 or older. Do not submit a child's personal information or image.
